Lexus ES 300h
The 2.5-liter, in-line 4 hybrid (156 hp) is a front wheel drive (FWD) that is selling around $39,800. The ES is not yet rated by NHTSA or IIHS. The ES comes with antilock disc brakes, front and rear side air bags, side curtain air bags and stability control as standard features. At the end, 90 percent of the vehicle’s materials are recyclable and therefore, makes it the most nature friendly vehicle.
The Toyota’s luxury brand, Lexus sells more vehicles in the U.S. ahead of China and Japan. The 2013 ES has more legroom at the back. It no longer uses the Camry platform and the new platform for ES shares a larger revamped Toyota Avalon. However, still the latest ES looks similar to previous ES. The hybrid of gasoline and electric power for the ES came from Camry. As a result, the ES 300h achieves 40 combined city/highway mpg. The city mpg estimated at 40 and highway at 39 mpg. It claims 0 to 60 in 8.1 seconds which is not bad for a hybrid. ES 300h provides smoother transition between gasoline and electric power.
The flush interior includes polished bamboo and sweet smelling leather. Cabin is subtle with a supple ride.
