Drivers maintain silence for Madrid victims
The Formula One drivers and leading figures held a three-minute silence in Valencia on Friday as a mark of respect and a tribute to the victims of the Madrid plane crash.The event took place at midday, shortly after the conclusion of opening free practice. The movement was spearheaded by Fernando Alonso who stated that he hoped that everyone would get involved and observe the silence.
