Honda Accord getting sportier
Honda redesigned its midsize flagship sedan line, the Accord for 2013. The 2014 line include new luxury Honda Accord Sedan, stylish and sophisticated two-door Honda Accord Coupe, rechargeable hybrid Honda Accord Plug-In, and an elegant and efficient Honda Accord Hybrid.
The Honda Accord Sport is a 2.4-liter, in-line 4 that produce 189 horsepower delivering 26 city, 35 highway and 29 combined miles per gallon. Starting around $25,000, the Sport model delivers everything you expect from a sport car from style to efficiency. It comes with a NHTSA Five Stars overall rating. With front side and full side curtains air bags, backup camera and break assist, no wonder why it has one of the top safety ratings.
For manual transmission lovers, it provides 6-speed that can be one of the best in the business. For others, the continuously variable transmission (CVT) provides plenty of smooth power. The cabin is so quite thanks to new active noise-cancellation technology. Its high quality interior design provides a comfortable ride for five adults.
