Felipe Massa takes pole for the European GP
Felipe Massa took pole for the inaugural European Grand Prix at Valencia beating Lewis Hamilton and Robert Kubica who took third. The pole position puts Massa in a commanding position for the race tomorrow with Valencia being notoriously difficult to overtake.
The real star of the session was Sebastian Vettel who was fastest of all in Q2 and took an amazing sixth place on the grid. Here are the starting positions for tomorrows race:
